Northwest Instrument Laser Levels

Building structures—no matter how big or small—requires the use of levels. As their name suggests, these tools help with levelling, which is an indispensable task in strengthening a building’s structural integrity. However, large-scale construction projects can’t be completed in time with just the use of standard manual levels. This is where Northwest Instrument laser levels enter the picture. These levels project green or red laser beams horizontally, vertically, or both. The projected beams then serve as reference lines for tasks that involve levelling, such as aligning cabinetry, building decks, or mounting frames.
Northwest Instrument offers highly accurate laser levels of various types for any application. These laser levels have IP ratings for dust- and water-resistance, which means that they can withstand the toughest field conditions. For added convenience, accuracy, and efficiency, most of them make use of internal pendulums that enable them to self-level.

Rotary Lasers

Northwest Instrument’s rotary lasers can spin 360-degree laser beams at rates of up to 500 rotations per minute. These beams create horizontal or vertical planes around the job site, which serve as references for levelling and plumbing. When using these rotary lasers with detectors, they can work over ranges of up to 2000 feet, perfect for outdoor use.
For wide sweep, narrow sweep, and squaring applications, there are laser levels that can produce two beams. On the other hand, the 3-Beam Interior and Exterior rotary lasers are some of the best rotary lasers as they can project horizontal, zenith, and plummet laser beams.

Cross Beam Lasers

Whether the task requires levelling, plumbing, or square alignment, cross beam lasers are the most versatile choice among all kinds of laser levels. They can emit horizontal and vertical lines in a cross-hair fashion. These crossline beams come in handy when getting precise right angles, which is why this kind of laser level is convenient when mounting shelves, installing HVAC systems, or tilting walls.

Grade Lasers

Ramps, driveways, and drainage need to be tilted at specific slopes, and grade lasers are perfect for this kind of task. Grade lasers can help users establish accurate slopes or grades over long working ranges. The NRL800X grade laser, just like the rotary laser models, can also work over 2000-foot ranges with the help of a laser detector. They emit horizontal and zenith laser beams at a wavelength of 635 nanometers.

Point Lasers

A point laser level is a far better alternative to a plumb bob. It can produce single or multiple reference points at 90 degrees between a wall, the floor, and the ceiling. Northwest Instrument’s Selectable 3-4-5-Point Laser can project up to five laser points horizontally or vertically, which are useful for levelling, plumbing, and transferring points from the floor to the ceiling.
